Having observed the raffle market for some time, only a hand fully of people have tried to raffle there home.
I saw this as a great opportunity to change one person’s life, while offering the opportunity of winning a £1.6m home up to everyone.
If I’m honest there is also an exciting element of learning about social media, content creating and rising to the challenge of it all.
Hopefully by documenting the journey, the possibility of raffling a home will be open to everybody following the process.
The winner may not want to the house or its location and see greater value in taking the cash. This could also be true in the event of a non UK resident winning.
This is on the advice of Raffall, having been involved with property raffles before. We’re not a business with deep pockets or a big reach.
It takes time to build and audience and gain trust.
Without being able to spend ten’s of thousands on advertising and marketing, we have to rely on making content, posting videos and hoping publications and news outlets see some
interest in the story.
We want the raffle to be a successful as possible and thus 6 months is the minimum advice to make it so.
Raffall is a well known and trusted raffling platform, both compliance and legal with gaming rules and a recognised registered raffling site in the UK with thousands of completion’s having been run.
Without Raffall, it wouldn’t be possible to run this competition given the requirement need to meet and the complexity and logistics of selling tickets and running the admin that goes with it.
With over 23,000 Trustpilot reviews Raffall have created thousands of winners through their platform.
At competition close Raffall will transact the property through solicitors providing the minimum paid ticket target has been met – this target is to ensure the property value is met and all costs associated with running the raffle have been covered.
In the event the target is not met the winner will receive an alternative cash prize based on ticket sales.

On Monday 7th December at 12:00 GMT
After purchasing tickets you'll be able to see on the Raffall page what the total number of tickets allocated (paid + free promotional) is, which relates to your odds of winning. They do not have a facility to also disclose paid ticket numbers. I intend to give occasional updates on social media to keep things transparent
As the competition is being hosted by Raffall, all of the terms and conditions can be found on their website here.
